Steve Jeffery gained a degree in Materials Science and a doctorate in Physics at Oxford University before spending three years working at a church in South London. He trained at Oak Hill Theological College, and is now Minister of EMMANUEL EVANGELICAL CHURCH in London, England. He is married to Nicole, and they have three children, Ben, Becki and Abi. His other loves include jazz, football and Jonathan Edwards.
Mike Ovey is Principal and Lecturer in Doctrine and Apologetics at Oak Hill Theological College, and holds a doctorate in trinitarian theology from King’s College London. He once worked as a lawyer drafting government legislation, and subsequently served as a curate at All Saints, Crowborough, before teaching at Moore Theological College, Sydney. Married to Heather, they have three children, Charlie, Harry and Anastasia. His interests include Arsenal Football Club, really complicated whodunnits and strong coffee.
Andrew Sach graduated in Natural Sciences from St John’s College, Cambridge, before completing a doctorate at the University of York exploring brain mechanisms involved in human hearing. He then spent three years in Christian ministry before embarking on theological studies at Oak Hill Theological College. He now works at St Helen’s, Bishopsgate, in Central London, and is co-author of Dig Deeper! (IVP, 2005), a popular book on how to understand the Bible. His current obsessions include the BBC drama Spooks, a particularly tricky piano piece by Prokofiev (which he can’t play) and his three godsons, Eden, Edward and Thomas.
